The choice of essentials. The pursuit of efficacy.

Since the creation of C-H-O Nature, we have upheld the same conviction: a good skincare product is not measured by the number of ingredients it contains, but by the relevance of each one.

Our formulation charter was born from this commitment. For nearly 17 years, it has guided the design of each of our skincare products and reflects our desire to combine naturality, efficacy, and sensory appeal without compromising on quality.

The label is gone. Our standards are not.

We have chosen to continue our commitment in a different way: by prioritizing transparency about the composition of our products, the percentages of ingredients of natural origin and those derived from organic farming, and the principles that guide their formulation.

1. Formulas designed down to the smallest detail

Every ingredient must have a reason for being. We favor formulas designed with rigor, in which the raw materials are selected for their properties and their benefits for the skin.

Efficacy above all. We look for raw materials whose cosmetic properties are supported by relevant scientific data, so that we can choose the ingredients best suited to the needs addressed by each skincare product.

Essentials rather than superfluity. We favor short, coherent formulas, limiting the number of ingredients to only what is necessary. This approach allows us to focus on the quality of the raw materials and the relevance of their combinations, while taking into account the requirements for product stability, safety, and preservation.

Every ingredient has its role. Vegetable oils, essential oils, butters, or other raw materials: we select each component according to its function in the formula. The ingredients necessary for texture, stability, and preservation are chosen with the same care.

Our goal: to retain only what contributes to the quality, safety, or experience of the skincare product.

2. The power of synergies

Carefully studied ingredient combinations

The quality of a formula does not depend solely on each ingredient taken separately. It also depends on how the ingredients are combined.

This is particularly true for vegetable oils and essential oils. Their properties, textures, and aromatic profiles differ. Choosing and combining them correctly requires in-depth knowledge of the raw materials and their characteristics.

At C-H-O Nature, each formula is designed around a specific goal. The ingredients are selected based on their contribution to this goal and their complementarity within the skincare product.

Nothing is chosen at random: every raw material must contribute something to the formula.

Our skincare products are based on a formulation heritage developed since 2009. Today, we continue this expertise by working with French partner laboratories, respecting the identity and historic formulas of C-H-O Nature.

3. Naturality at the heart of our formulas

Nature has been at the foundation of C-H-O Nature since its origins. We favor ingredients of natural origin, particularly vegetable oils, essential oils, and butters, selected for their cosmetic properties and their place in our formulas.

Our ambition is to offer skincare products that combine naturality, efficacy, and pleasure of use.

We also pay particular attention to the proportion of ingredients derived from organic farming. Because we want to enable you to make informed choices, we indicate the corresponding percentages on our product sheets, according to the characteristics of each formula.

We have chosen no longer to use an organic certification label. This choice does not mean that we are abandoning our standards of naturality: it reflects our desire to inform you directly about the composition of our skincare products and our commitments.

4. Authentic sensory appeal, driven by essential oils

At C-H-O Nature, the pleasure of a skincare product is not limited to its texture. Its fragrance, the way it settles on the skin, and the ritual that accompanies its application are all fully part of the experience.

We do not add synthetic fragrance to our historic formulas: their olfactory signature comes from the essential oils they contain.

These aromatic raw materials give each skincare product its personality. Their notes can evoke freshness, softness, warmth, or comfort, and contribute to the pleasure of the beauty routine.

The sense of smell is closely linked to memory and emotions. We wish to place this sensory dimension at the heart of our skincare products, inviting each person to take a few moments to breathe, feel, and fully enjoy their ritual.

This experience does not replace the cosmetic benefits of the product: it complements them and gives the skincare gesture an additional dimension.

5. Commitments that stand the test of time

Since the beginnings of C-H-O Nature, we have strived to formulate skincare products true to our convictions.

Our charter is based on clear choices:

• Paraben-free.

• No added colorants.

• Phenoxyethanol-free.

• Phthalate-free.

• Mineral oil-free.

• Silicone-free.

We also favor preservation systems adapted to each formula, seeking solutions that are as gentle as possible, without ever neglecting the microbiological safety essential to a cosmetic product.

We pay particular attention to the selection of our raw materials and their compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The safety of the finished product remains a priority at every stage.

6. Preservatives chosen with rigor

A cosmetic product must remain stable and protected against microbial contamination during use. Preservation is therefore not a minor detail: it contributes directly to the safety of the skincare product.

In our formulas, the preservation systems have been chosen for their compatibility with the compositions and their safety requirements. Some formulas notably use Benzyl Alcohol and Sodium Dehydroacetate, ingredients used as preservatives in cosmetics. Gentle synthetic preservatives, accepted by organic labels, which are described as "nature-identical". 

A charter true to our history

Nearly 17 years after the first formulas, our conviction remains the same: to offer skincare products whose formulation choices, ingredients, and expected cosmetic benefits we can explain.

The historic formulas of C-H-O Nature continue to carry this heritage. Their production is now entrusted to French partners selected to support the brand in this new stage.

Because trust is built over time, we wish to give you access to clear, honest, and understandable information about each of our products.
