What does C-H-O Nature mean?

C-H-O stands for three essential elements of living matter: carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. A name that reflects our deep connection to living things and our belief that beauty can combine naturalness, effectiveness, and well-being. Since 2009, CHO Nature has been creating skincare products that care for the skin while inviting you to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

What is the story of C-H-O Nature?

C-H-O Nature is a French cosmetics brand founded in 2009 by Béatrice and Joseph, husband and wife. Born from a family story and a desire to create natural, sensorial, and effective skincare, the brand has developed over the years formulas appreciated by a loyal customer base, including both individuals and beauty professionals.

After a break at the end of 2025, C-H-O Nature is reborn in 2026 with renewed momentum, while remaining true to its history, its formulas, and its founding values.

Who is behind CHO Nature today?

Anne-Sophie Grivon, the founders' daughter, has been involved in the C-H-O Nature adventure since 2014. A relaunch that builds on what has always defined its identity, while bringing a more assertive vision of beauty: that of skin that ages better, a mind that finds peace, and rituals that make you feel good, far beyond the skin.

Where are CHO Nature skincare products made?

C-H-O Nature prioritizes French cosmetic expertise and works with manufacturing partners in France to produce its skincare products. The formulas were developed by Joseph Grivon. We pay particular attention to the quality of raw materials and the rigor of formulation.

Are C-H-O Nature cosmetics natural?

Naturalness has been at the heart of C-H-O Nature's identity since its creation. Our formulas prioritize ingredients of natural origin selected for their cosmetic properties and benefits for the skin. The formulas contain more than 98% natural ingredients.

Are C-H-O Nature products certified organic?

C-H-O Nature has a strong history with organic cosmetics. Today, the brand is evolving its approach and no longer relies on an organic certification label for its products. They are therefore no longer certified. 

Our commitment remains the same: to select our ingredients with rigor, to prioritize naturalness, and to provide you with clear information about the composition of our skincare products. Detailed information is available on each product page.

Why does C-H-O Nature use essential oils?

Essential oils hold a special place in the C-H-O Nature universe because of their effectiveness, proven for millennia on the skin, their aromatic properties, and their sensorial dimension. Their scents help make applying a skincare product a true ritual, inviting you to slow down and fully enjoy the present moment. Their concentration is deliberately very low to avoid any reaction. 

Essential oils are not suitable for everyone or every situation: we recommend that you consult the list of ingredients and the precautions for use specific to each product.

Do C-H-O Nature products contain controversial ingredients?

We pay particular attention to the choice of our ingredients and the consistency of our formulas with our commitments. Our approach consists of prioritizing carefully selected ingredients and avoiding those that do not meet our formulation standards.

Each formula has its own specific characteristics. To find out its exact composition, you can consult the INCI list on its product page or packaging.

Are the products tested on animals?

No. Cosmetics marketed in the European Union are subject to specific regulations governing animal testing. C-H-O Nature complies with the European cosmetic regulations applicable to its products.

How do I choose the right skincare products for my skin?

Every skin is unique, and its needs can change with the seasons, age, and lifestyle.

To choose your skincare products, we advise you to start with your main concerns: hydration, comfort, nourishment, radiance, or signs of aging. C-H-O Nature product pages allow you to discover the benefits, textures, and directions for use of each skincare product.

When should I use my skincare products?

It depends on your routine and the products you choose. As a general rule, skincare products should be applied to clean skin, starting with the lightest textures and finishing with the richest.

Some skincare products are particularly suitable for the morning, others for the evening, or for both times of day. Find specific advice on each product page.

In what order should I apply my skincare products?

A simple routine can follow this order:

1. Makeup remover and/or cleanser

2. Water-based serum

3. Eye contour care.

4. Beauty oil

5. Finish with your cream depending on the products used.

Adapt this order to the recommendations of each product and your needs. 

Can I use a beauty oil with a cream?

Yes, depending on the products and your skin's needs. A cream provides hydration and comfort, while a beauty oil helps nourish the skin and limit water loss.

You can generally apply the oil before your cream, in a small amount. The main thing is to find a routine that is pleasant and suited to your skin.

When should I apply the Hydratense serum?

If you use a beauty oil, you can mix a few drops of oil with your serum in your hand and apply it to your face before the cream.

If you do not use an oil, you can follow the order mentioned above.

What does Skin & Mind Longevity mean?

Skin & Mind Longevity expresses our vision of beauty that takes into account the skin and overall well-being. We believe that taking care of yourself is not limited to applying a formula: it is also about taking time, awakening your senses, and rediscovering soothing gestures.

Our approach combines three complementary dimensions: cosmetic active ingredients selected to meet the skin's needs, aromatic scents, and massage gestures that transform application into a ritual.

What is emotional cosmetics?

Emotional cosmetics gives a major place to the sensory experience of skincare: its fragrance, its texture, the contact with the skin, and the gestures that accompany its application.

How can I make the most of my C-H-O ritual?

We invite you to take a few moments for yourself, without rushing.

Start by breathing and discovering the scent of your skincare product. Then apply the right amount to your skin, taking the time to massage gently with gestures suited to the area concerned. Finish with a new inhalation, to fully enjoy this moment.

This is the spirit of the C-H-O gesture: smell, apply and massage, then smell again.

5. Orders, delivery, and returns

How do I place an order on the C-H-O Nature website?

Choose the skincare products you are interested in, add them to your cart, then follow the order confirmation steps. Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a summary email containing information about your order.

What payment methods are accepted?

The available payment methods are indicated at the time of order confirmation. You will be able to select the option that suits you.

What are the delivery times and fees?

Delivery times and fees depend on the chosen delivery method and the destination of your order. The applicable information is specified during checkout and in our general terms and conditions of sale.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. When a tracking number is available, you can use it to track the delivery of your package.

Can I modify or cancel my order after confirmation?

We prepare orders with the utmost care and as quickly as possible. If you wish to modify or cancel an order, contact us promptly with your order number. We will confirm what is still possible depending on the preparation or shipping status.

Can I return a product?

The terms of return and withdrawal are specified in our general terms and conditions of sale. For cosmetics, special rules may apply to unsealed products for reasons of hygiene or health protection.
