Natural care for combination and dehydrated skin: our tailor-made organic routine

Combination and dehydrated skin is often considered one of the most pleasant skin types to live with on a daily basis: few spots, little redness or irritation, good tolerance to skin care, and good resistance to skin aging. However, it can be capricious: the main difficulty lies in choosing a skincare routine adapted to the different areas of the face.

What is dehydrated combination skin?

By definition, combination skin has different characteristics depending on the area of ​​the face. The T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) is generally oilier, while the cheeks are normal to dry, or even sensitive . This inequality makes choosing skincare products more complex, especially if the skin also shows signs of dehydration (tightness, fine lines, lack of radiance, etc.).

It is also important to understand that combination skin can be dehydrated , as dehydration affects all skin types. From the age of 21, water loss increases, making hydration essential, even for oily or combination skin.

The two types of combination skin

• Normal to combination skin : Generally balanced, with a slightly oilier T-zone. Skin texture is even, pores are barely visible, but some shine and small spots may appear.

• Combination to oily skin : Oily skin is predominant, with drier and sometimes dehydrated cheeks. Skin texture is more uneven, pores are dilated in the T-zone, and blemishes can be common.

How to identify your combination skin type?

To properly adapt your routine, observe yourself in natural light, without makeup:

• Does your skin shine in certain areas?

• Are the pores on your nose or between your eyebrows enlarged?

• Does your skin feel tight on your cheeks?

The CHO Nature routine for combination and dehydrated skin

1. Makeup Removal & Cleansing
